AntWiki page for Dorymyrmex insanus
I had one heck of a time trying to ID these gals. For a long while I couldn't tell them apart from the Argentine ant, Linepithema humile.
But now I'm fairly somewhat kinda certain maybe, that these are definitely probably Dorymyrmex insanus FOR SURE perhaps.
How do I know? I am judging by the few photos I was able to get of their propodeal cone, plus the light color of their mandibles.
